La chasse aux lettres
Thetford Mines, 2022

« La chasse aux lettres » is an interactive reading experience composed of a series of fictional letters, taking readers from one letter to another across the city of Thetford Mines. Throughout the post-apocalyptic fiction, readers find themselves in a mid-spring, desolate version of the city, intimately accompanying the protagonist and his quells about the world he navigates, and his quest to find survivors within it.

The second edition of « La chasse aux lettres », a series of post-apocalyptic fictional letters, offered readers two activities in one and the same edition; that is, two different ways to read and experience the story. Throughout the city of Thetford Mines, letters were displayed in numerous public settings as they had in the event’s inauguration in 2022, allowing readers to navigate the story and the city in a rally-styled fashion. In the Hôtel du Domaine, again in Thetford Mines, these same letters were exhibited in a conference room as though an art gallery, allowing participants to read all the letters from the same room, with only mere steps separating the letters.
